Why this site exists
Kotor punishes a vague plan in three ways. The town is free and everything above or across the water is ticketed, so the two best views sit behind a €15 gate and a €25 gondola fare that nobody official publishes side by side. About 523 cruise calls are scheduled for 2026, and on a two-ship day the lanes and the walls change character between nine and eleven. And the bay's headline stops, Perast and Our Lady of the Rocks, carry small cash costs that the boat listings do not always fold in.
So every price, hour and figure here is read from the official page of the operator or institution that charges it, and stamped with the date it was read. Where no official source states a figure, the page says so and reports the current gate price instead of borrowing a plausible one.
Where the information comes from
Ticket prices for the cable car come from kotorcablecar.me, the operator's own site. Port and cruise-ship context comes from portofkotor.com, the port operator. City information comes from kotor.travel, the Tourism Organisation of Kotor. The residence tax and its registration rule are published by the municipal tourism organisations, such as tivat.travel for the same national rate.
Two figures need a wider net. The city walls gate price is published by no official page, so it is cross-checked against current climbing guides each season. The Lovćen National Park and mausoleum charges are read from recent visitor reports because the national parks site was unreachable when the figures were read. Each page prints its source and check date in its freshness box.
Tour prices, durations, ratings and review counts are the booking platform's own published numbers, read on the date shown on the card. Climate figures are computed for this guide from the Open-Meteo ERA5 reanalysis archive for the town's coordinates.
What we do not claim
There is no invented author here, no character who grew up under the walls, and no claim that someone from this site climbed San Giovanni fortress on a particular morning. We do not operate or personally conduct these tours, and we do not inspect museums or audit any operator.
We also hold no bookings. Every Check Availability button hands you to the platform the tour is sold on, where the price, the terms and the cancellation window are theirs. Official ticket offices, such as the walls gate and the cable car's own shop, are linked plainly, without any tracking on the link, whenever buying direct is the better move.
